By using the BBB Bites Delivery Boy App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

How We Use Your Information

When you successfully hand over food to the customer, the BBB Bites app requires you to take and upload a proof of delivery photo. This protects both you and the restaurant in case of any disputes.

What to photograph

Take a clear photo of the food bag / box at the customer's door. The photo should show the order is intact and at the correct location.

How it is stored

Photos are encrypted and stored on secure BBB Bites servers. Only the restaurant partner and BBB Bites support staff can view them.

                📸 Who can see your uploaded proof photos?

                Only the restaurant partner (for that specific order) and authorised BBB Bites support staff. Proof photos are never shown to other customers or made public.

✅ Uploading a proof photo marks the order as Delivered in the system and triggers your earnings credit for that order. Without a proof photo, the order cannot be marked as complete.

⚠️ Photos must show the actual delivery location. Do not upload unrelated or fake images — this may result in account suspension and withholding of earnings.

Live Location Tracking

Your live GPS location is tracked while you are on an active delivery
Location is used to assign nearby orders, provide navigation, and show your position to the restaurant during pickup
Location tracking stops automatically when you go offline or close the app
Location history for each delivery is retained for 30 days for dispute resolution, then deleted

⚠️ Background location is used only when you have an active delivery assigned. You can go offline anytime from the app to stop all location tracking.

Data Sharing

We never sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to operate deliveries:

Restaurant Partner: Your name and live location during pickup; delivery proof photo after drop-off
Customer: Your name and live location during active delivery (for tracking purposes only)
Payment Provider: Your bank details for payout processing
Firebase (Google): Secure database, photo storage, and push notifications
Law Enforcement: Only if required by UAE law or court order

✅ Customers can only see your first name and live location during an active delivery. Your phone number, Emirates ID, and bank details are never shared with customers.

Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send you alerts:

New delivery order request near your location
Order pickup ready at restaurant
Customer location updated
Earnings credited after completed delivery
Weekly payout processed to your bank
Platform announcements and policy updates

Data Security

All data stored on Firebase Firestore with strict security rules
Proof photos encrypted and served via secure signed CDN URLs
HTTPS encryption for all data transmission including photo uploads
Emirates ID and bank details encrypted at rest
Access restricted to authorised BBB Bites personnel only
Regular security audits of all systems

Data Retention

Delivery partner account data retained as long as account is active
Upon account deletion, personal data removed within 30 days
Delivery proof photos retained for 90 days then permanently deleted
GPS location history per delivery retained for 30 days then deleted
Delivery history and earnings retained for 1 year for UAE tax compliance
Emirates ID copy deleted within 30 days of account deletion
